Not a fan of this one. The FoF team is decent, but very hit-or-miss (and usually miss). They pick their investigations (in a totally-not-scripted beginning), split into teams, and tackle their assignments. The show flip-flops between the two teams, who try to recreate their scenes (they try to recreate videos to see if they're hoaxed or not) using the "same" equipment the original video was shot on. Often, they jump to conclusions after one or two tests, and in a very slapdash, haphazard way. If you're not too critical and looking for fun, it's very interesting to see how they try to recreate each video. But if you're looking for authenticity, you might wanna take a pass on this one; it's faker than any hoax video you'll find on youtube.

I love this series! It's hilarious and spooky. My favourite episodes are the ones about paranormal goings-on, like ghosts and demons and such, but I also enjoy the episodes on cryptids, though they rarely, if ever, get any evidence for those episodes. This show has done a lot of firsts, and the locations are all over the world. The way the team interacts with one another can be a little... strange at times. Their dynamics aren't perfect, but they're committed and passionate to their work, and it's such an enjoyable show to watch. Josh Gates is hilarious, but sometimes his interactions with locals can be cringy, so if you're sensitive to those things, you might want to skip them. Otherwise, great show! Much enjoyed.

Great variety of locations! The team dynamic is excellent, but the episodes don't focus a lot on the investigation, more on the history of the sites. Perfect for history lovers. Though sometimes there is very little evidence collected, the show is still fun to watch. It definitely has that creep factor, and the team really works well together.

I enjoyed the earlier seasons but not so much the later ones. Zak Bagans has devolved into someone who looks to provoke ghost/spirits, and has become more edgy rather than investigative. I still enjoy the show, I actually find it one of the more terrifying ghost shows I've ever watched, and the amount of evidence they've accumulated over the years is nothing to sneeze at. They often use some of the most up-to-date equipment I've seen in a ghost show, but many of the episodes are formulaic or end abruptly just as the investigation is heating up. Fun to watch if you're looking for general scary entertainment, but if you're looking for something a little more scientific, this might not be your cup of tea.

Yvette Fielding is always screaming. And someone is always disappearing "mysteriously" when all the creepy noises are happening. As a show, it's somewhat entertaining, but don't watch more than 1 episode at a time, because by the end, your eardrums are shot.

This is one of my favourite shows, and I wish it was being renewed. Nick Groff and Katrina Weidman have excellent chemistry and I really enjoy their investigations. If you're looking for a paranormal reality show that's semi-professional, this is your show. Unfortunately, it's been wrapped at 3 seasons, but they are still excellent, and I've watched them multiple times. If you're fastidious for the details of a real, live paranormal investigation, however, you'll be hard pressed to find one on TV. Many of these paranormal reality tv shows are on a one-night basis. While Paranormal Lockdown ups this to 72 hours, it's still not on the level of an actual investigation, which could take weeks or months, and is done very scientifically. Logic in tv is taken in leaps, and if you want your paranormal investigations to be to the letter, this isn't your stop. Still, I love this show. I love the chemistry between the two actors. I love the lockdowns. I like watching them wake each other up in the morning looking like they're dead themselves lmao. There are some very cool and fun things in this show, and I enjoy it wholeheartedly. Recommended!
