Not a very believable movie. Sarandon looks way too healthy to be contemplating ending her life. Husband and best friend lovers????? If you have ever watched someone die an antagonizing death, you know how absurd this movie is. Of course, maybe that's why she decided to not suffer. The ending is strange. Where is the husband going? To the shore, to his lover?

I practiced nursing for over 30 years. There were good and bad days, mostly good. This book is horribly depressing. Any one who reads it would probably not choose nursing as a career. It makes one wonder why Ms.Watson chose to stay in nursing if she was so upset with the cases she treated. There were also too many referrals to drinking, smoking and use of nitrous oxide in her past. Terrible, depressing reading.
