Thought-provoking, mind-bending and evocative while surreal and pretty decent animation palettes for an original anime working around the "psychological x mystery" genre. If you loved Sonny Boy enough to tattle in the genre, try another one of the director's (Shingo Natsume) works called Yojouhan Shinwa Taikei

6 a.m. in the morning. Crying in bed to that final scene with Shoya finally accepting the people around him. This movie is perfect, especially if you feel like you can't connect with people. The character building, the ambiance, the emotion, drive and feel. Arguably at par with Kimi Na No Wa ❤

11/10. I know WIT Studio cause of shows like Banana Fish, SnK and Vinland Saga but I did not expect them to throw me off like this with their amazing visuals on this anime. The plot, the characters, the twists and turns, the inner jokes about different cultures, how it embraces mature undertones... I wouldn't know where the praise begins and where it ends. If you've watched Gangsta, Bacanno or 91 Days, this anime is for you. If you haven't, imagine if Oceans Eleven were an anime but like infinitely better.

If you want to watch something and say "You know I actually see where this is going and I'm hooked for a second season"? No, this is not the show for you. Felt like it dragged out for a couple of episodes from the main plot device. Overally, it's okay.
