This is a Solid game but some of the choices just don’t make sense with their effects. I get the whole hallucinations idea but the fact about that is unless you look ahead of time at game play it’s all up to luck whether or not you save everyone. There is a lot less random decisions with effects as in until dawn with realistic outcomes such as running from the wendingo. The fact that you are choices with stabbing yourself as Alex or killing the monster I’m sure most people are gonna attack the monster so it’s kind of hard through your first play through to know you aren’t supposed to do anything at all. And I feel like I arrived at a weird outcome with Julia where she got shot in the head because as Alex brother I don’t exactly know what to make him say to cause the guy not to shoot her it’s really all a guessing game till the game takes off the mask of the illusion. So overall a great game but could have been a tad bit longer as until dawn was but in general I would give it a 4/5 solely due to the fact that it was shorter than until dawn and had less upsides with harder chances to save characters. Although the trailer for Dark Pictures Little Hope 2020 looks like a more promising storyline and should be a great game. Man of Medan was a fun experience and almost lived up to until dawn but fell a little bit short. If you are curious I managed to save all the male characters I feel the choices to save them were easier but I will not say how I went about this process enjoy.
