Good mid western ranching family are living their lives until tragedy strikes their son down. Their daughter-in-law remarries and moves away with their grandson. They are resolved to bring him home after abusive behaviour towards the mother and boy is seen by the grandmother. Could of been cliche ridden but the screenplay resisted the urge to give Kevin Costner Bruce Lee capability in a fight scene and saw him beaten down instead. A little unrealistic at times, but hey, it’s entertaining.
