I like these kind of movies but this one was ridiculous period. The casting of the bad guys was good but the casting of the president and the hero not so much

I was disappointed. I can't say why without giving away spoilers. It was slow. I did love the special effects. I'm guessing this movie stands alone and does not really have anything to do with the other X-Man movies. I felt like I was watching a prequel until things happened that could not have happened if this was a prequel. I can't say without giving away the movie.
