The film really just works hard to be disturbing or uncomfortable, but it is in no way interesting. Every single twist I had already guessed 19 minutes earlier. The background situation in the. Ity of Gotham that is supposed to explain how Joker amazed support /henchmen doesn't really make any sense. Former iteration of the Joker implied a charasmatic, calculating individual but all of that is gone. What your left with is a sad, potentially developmentally impaired individual who seems like a child. They dont display any real intelligence in the movie, rather bumbling around instead.

Very cutsey, fun film. I really enjoyed watching it. Kit was the little girl who loved magic and fantasy and adored her toy unicorn, Steve. As an adult she tries to take her love of colour, fantasy and glitter into a career as an artist, but fails. And so the movie begins as Kit tried to decide what to do next with her life. The character is played for comedy, Like a child pretending to be an adult. Eventually she is summoned to a mysterious unicorn store. Where she is told unicorns are real and she will be given one is she completes a set of tasks. The first being to build a home suitable for a unicorn, Which leads to her meeting Virgil, a low rung employee at the hardware store. Over the course of the movie Kit tries to adapt to a bland corporate job, and navigate her relationship with her parents, and learn to function. Though the tasks she is given she begins to better understand her life and believe in herself.
