I loved this game. But lemme say a bit more. This is the first game in the series I picked up and if you’re wondering wether you should start with the others, don’t bother. It’s not a continuous story and the improvements they made from the previous ones are amazing so why would you wanna go back to a “downgrade version”. So, the truth is, I played for one hour and found it so boring. I was about to lay it aside and return it as I thought I wasn’t going to finish it but I was thinking to myself “you know what. You spent so much money. Give it another hour”. And I did. And guess what? I absolutely fell in love with it!! It’s amazing! I finished it last night at midnight with 15hrs gameplay all together (mind you, I didn’t get every single gem there is. So you can get probably another couple of hours out of it). You have to find the elevator buttons to get to the next level (17 in total) and each floor (level) has a different theme and ghost boss to fight. The themes of the floors are AMAZING!!! The amount of detail that went into the game is so precious! The graphics look straight out of a pixar movie! It’s probably the best graphics game on the switch so far. One thing that annoyed me a bit is polterkitty who is stealing the elevator button from you just as you finally finished the level so you gotta go and chase after her for a while. But nonetheless, I loved the game! Sometimes you really gotta use your brain to figure out the puzzles and I really like that! Don’t be encouraged if you can’t get into it in the first hour of play. It’s worth it to go through that one hour for another ~ 15 hours of pure fun and enjoyment! The final boss fight in order to finish the game is not that tricky once you figure out what you gotta do! If you’re thinking about picking this game up, don’t think no more! Get it now!!

Just came back from the cinema. The lion king was one of my favourite movies growing up. I would always play with my two younger sisters pretending we were the lions... great memories. But the movie was kind of a let down. I walked home feeling disappointed. Not to get me wrong, the graphic and scenery were amazing. They did a great job on the realism but I think they were relying too much on that thinking they can get away with the rest. Important scenes/ dialogs from the original movie were missing and therefore it lost its touch for me. I would have been okay with sacrificing a little bit of realism for more emotions in their faces. I trade I would have been glad to see. I think I was the most disappointed with Scar. Yes maybe a black mane is not a natural thing for a lion, but I would have loved to see it more true to the original. Mufasa represented a great big glorious king in the original and i didnt feel that way with that movie. Mainly the mane. The manes of all of the male lions should have been bigger, more full and long. Bit disappointed with that. I understand they tried to be as close to realism as possible but as i said before I would have traded a bit for more originality from the 1994 movie... Voice cast.... meh. Even the original voice from mufasa that reprised his role for this movie wasnt as powerful... And where was the song “he lives in you” my personal fave. Totally replaced with “spirit” , beyonces new original addition... I saw it once, and it was worth to go but I wouldn’t watch it a second time...
