With prose flowing more smoothly than Gaiman, and poetry more profound than Shakespeare, I strongly believe this to one of the best books ever written. It delves into the political machinations of the chancellor, the formation of the rebellion, and the psychological trauma of Anakin Skywalker, "the hero without fear". It also features character backstories and beautiful inner monologue essays. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in Star Wars, politics, or good books in general.
