Shane Black's The Predator explains WHY The Yautja HUNTED & TOOK TROPHIES Of Severed HEADS & SPINES.It Explains That They Are Not Violent Hunters By Choice But Are Trying To Cope With Evolution & Facing A Common Enemy With The Humans -- Extinction.Though The Film Has Problem With Pacing & Story line And is a Bit Too Cheesy.It Explores The Reason & Universal Question Of The Franchise - WHY (The Hunt) ? This Installment Of The Series Changes The Whole Idea Of The Yautja. And Bcus The Film Is Set Before - Predators (2010). It Might Shed Light On Why There Where Two Kinds Of Yautja In The 2010 Film. Quinn Mckenna is a Good Replacement Of Arnold Schwarzenegger ONLY IN SPIRIT, Not In Physique.I Personally Expected A More Macho Protagonist For The Film. Olivia Munn's Character is A Stranger In The World Of Predators Stumbles In The First Half. I Personally Don't Agree With the Whole Team Being Killed Off. (And They Are Killed Off Pretty Fast). The Real Attraction Of The Film is The Upgrade Predator. He Is Over 8 ft Tall.Violent & Without Any Rules. (Normal Yautja's Don't Kill the Pregnant, ill, Or Unarmed But That Does Not Go For The Upgrade Predator) He Is The Perfect Villain.
