The acting all throughout, plot line, and Roth's attempt to represent young women as some kind of reverse predators was trash. None of it was believable or entertaining in the least. I know this came out two years prior to #metoo, but he should be ashamed of himself for peddling this kind of material. Especially in a world where so much violence happens at the hands of men, and is brushed under the rug in every way.
