The other reviewers are right. You will get very angry watching this series. I wish there were punishments for law enforcement officers who do this kind of thing. I hope every one of them gets to experience the despair, hopelessness, pain and loss that these families had to endure. These cops are no better than murderers - deliberately taking the lives of their victims away from them, lying to get away with it and harming society in the process. In fact, they are worse - because they swore an oath to protect and because they abuse the power given to them by the very people they are hurting and deceiving. Nothing on earth can reverse the damage done to these poor people, but perhaps a life sentence for the officers involved would be a small measure towards that. Or maybe hand them over to the viewers of this show.

I've watched all the way to season eight. I can only think that the budget must be getting smaller and smaller - because the main characters keep disappearing off the show. The special effects and details are excellent, and the acting has also been good. And then I took a 20 minute break, and suddenly Drovers was being run into the ground by the hideous Grace. The writers on this show must know how terribly irritating it is that every half wit drifter suddenly has part ownership in the "family farm". The show is supposed to be about how one sister lost her dad, but dedicated her life to the land, and the other sister falls in love with the place. Together they give everything they have, to run this farm. All of a sudden, some third party sister, just gives the farm away to the useless cousins. You can tell how good the writing is, by how much they manage to upset the viewer. No doubt this is the Australian style of television, make us hate every character with a passion, yet we can't stop watching!
