Boring, predictable writing with shallow characters. Some of the action and magic is interesting but the mythology of the world isn't clearly explained. Why are there mechs? What are mutants? How do you explain magic users? Is there any connection to authentic Japanese history? Whatever. I didn't finish the season. Castlevania was much more interesting.
