Everything that’s bad about British movies is encompassed here. Depressing, badly thought out, badly acted, can’t work out if it’s supposed to be funny or what? Just bloody awful. The male lead looks like a poorly Andy Burnham caked in make up. The ending was ridiculous, makes no sense at all. Clare Grogan was the only good thing and her character was utterly 1 dimensional and un-developed. Even the worst Hallmark xmas romcom you’ve ever seen is way better than this.

Not great. It’s disjointed and nothing really lands. I found myself emotionally detached from both the main characters, you really couldn’t care less what happens to either of them. There’s a couple of fairly lengthy action scenes (the moon pirates and the mayday rescue) which have nothing at all to do with the main story, and whatever limited jeopardy Pitt faces, he just sails through it all uninjured and unaffected. Disappointing stuff. 2 out of 5 could do better, see me after class.
