Hasn't been funny in a very long time.

The show feels like a shallow attempt at random humor. With a show going out of it's way to be so strange it just feels painfully benign. Besides Chubby, voiced by Roiland, the main cast sounds awfully bored and stilted. This leads to a weird disconnect where random characters have better voice actors that only highlight how underwhelming 75% of the main cast is. With the only decent voice among them mostly regulated grunts and mumbled lines. It makes it hard to get behind these already flat characters. The laughs feel few and far between. Or just never come at all in a single episode. Making one wonder why anyone would find this funny? I've seen a lot of much better niche shows come and go on Adult Swim. On a channel with so many off the wall shows, Hot Streets just feels boring and tired without a clear voice of it's own.
