Awful, simply awful movie. So bad it made me angry while watching it. Like, how can a script pass through so many hands, be read by so many people, be this bad, and still get made somehow? Any movie that needs so much exposition/narration to explain such simplistic backstory and characterisation is in serious trouble from the outset. It tried *so* hard to make these ultra-bland characters seem exciting, rebellious and somehow relatable with all these comic graphics and explanations, but simply *telling* your audience the characters are a certain way doesn't make them so. It was like a poorly-written Year 8 or 9 short story got made into a movie. It angered me not so much because it was such rubbish, but more because sitting through it is time on this earth I'll never get back. Utter waste of resources and time.
