This is the BEST rom-com that I've seen to-date that doesn't mimic the usual rom-com cliches like in some other Asian dramas. This writer is truly one of a kind! It's my 5th time watching. (First of all, because the chemistry and tremendous acting is in the Honors category.) Second, when I watch subbed Asian dramas, going back and forth rapidly, trying to read subtitles means something will get missed in a scene or something will get missed when the subtitled dialogue is moving fast. So, I do a re-watch to see what I've missed, ie facial expressions, a tear rolling down a cheek, something that seems trivial to one may be a monumental metaphoric answer to me as to why something occurred. What I'm watching has to make sense, and if not start on a positive note, at the most end on one which this one does. I highly recommend it!

Somebody doesn't want me to post this, but I'm doing it any way. This original, intact drama was removed ridiculously for no reason and of course, without explanation. It went from being public to being made private. If there was a security clearance breach, that would have been handled way before the release in 2015. This drama depicted the attrocities of war which I've seen in documentaries, first hand. The superb acting caused me to witness the effect the fear of war had on entire families and towns. Depicting the irrational decisions made by high ranking officials out of fear, the chosen scapegoats to cover-up the officials blunders, and how people pulled together to help each other before and during the invasion. I'm glad that I got to see all the episodes before this drama was taken down. I commend everyone in the making of this great drama.

Although, in reality I am not in favor of a teacher, student romance; situations though rare, can and do happen. This well written storyline was handled beautifully by the director. I enjoyed the chemistry among the actors and the script; actually, it was a breath of fresh air. I witnessed the mutual growth of pure love, respect and affection (isn't that what we all desire?). Not the usual manipulative, out of control, so called love that is warped, a lot of ado and unrestrained lust which leaves a trail of devastated emotions in tow. I watched it more than once in order to critique it fairly. I'm pleased with its outcome. It didn't leave me baffled as if why it even exists on film, nor did it make me sad or angry enough to want to become a virtual avenger against inappropriate behavior, hate and jealousy. I most definitely will watch it again and recommend it to others. It's a shame that there wasn't a season 2! I rate it 10!
