Where do I even start? I have a lot of feelings about this movie and in a way I'm sorta of conflicted. To me, the movie wasn't all that great, in fact, the one redeeming quality of the movie was the fact that it was SO bad it was actually hilarious.
The film budget have to have consisted of no more than $8 and an IPhone to film it on (my bet is the protagonists IPhone was used due to the fact that he had a FLIP PHONE is 2018) which made many of the more "intense" scenes and shots so ridiculous that you just couldn't take them seriously.
The script was terrible and the delivery just right to highlight the absurdity and the awkwardness of the language.
Probably the funniest part of the whole movie though was how predictable everything was. My friends and I found ourselves shouting the lines at the TV while the actors took William Shatner like pauses... in... between... every... line.
If your looking for a scary thriller to keep you on the edge of your seat, then this is not your movie. Don't waste 2 hours of your life looking for a scare. But, I do have to say I have zero regrets about watching it. I had an entertaining time even if it wasn't quite the movie experience I was looking for.
