I'm not going to lie and say this was not a good movie ..BUT THIS IS NOT MULAN; now I understand there are different point of views on mulans story in history but people expected and were told they were getting a remake of the disney version and were highly disappointed. Not only was the plot messed up but there was so many disney aspects taken out that didnt even make It as a disney movie anymore. It's like as if they took the beast out of beauty and the beast. Mulan not only has a sister, but she also apparently has fighting techniques that the original didnt for the reason that she is supposed to be how they project honor , this is how they see women then. The movie also gets rid of all singing and mushu the dragon; they aswell replaced shang with another male by which many forget his name and finally make the hawk into a witch woman with transformation powers...overall this an extreme letdown I only hopethey would remake it correctly in the future.
