I was watching the very interesting report regarding Michael Lewis, and people who had premonitions for the pandemic. I was very impressed by the reporting, however as a female physician I did note one thing that was very clear throughout the report. Dr. Charity Dean, a female physician and MPH, was constantly referred to by her First for first and last name without her title- doctor. All your male physicians were referred to as Dr. so-and-so. Dr. Dean has impressive credentials and earned her title, and your respect. It is insulting and misogynistic and condescending to refer to professional women this way. Words matter. You of all people should know this.
