D.A. Gibbs just now I just wasted 2 hours of my life by allowing Hollywood to bamboozle me into believing that this is what comedy is supposed to be. For those of us who grew up in the era of the original C2A, we know what great acting, plots and punchlines are; instead we were giving a plot that requires the IQ of a middle schooler (no disrespect middle schooler’s), random and senseless cameos, subpar acting, stereotypical buffoonery, awkward cultural references and “woke moments”, and what I think is going to be one of the worst lines in movie history “I’m going to die now”, all under the guise of “comedy”, It is almost insulting to my intelligence that people sat around a table for quite some time, wrote then read this plot and script, and came to conclusion that this would be great to put out. Again, there are some of us who are blessed enough to remember quality and this was far from, not to mention YOU HAD an amazing blueprint to study from for 30 years!!!, SMH I feel like we took steps backward watching this. I want my 2 hours back!!!
