Not only does this show keep you on the edge of your seat, but it's based on actual, scientific threats to our society. Bugs being unleashed from the melting ice caps could seriously wreak havoc on our modern world (not in the form of vampires, of course). Add to that awesome acting on all fronts, namely from our leading man, Ian Somerhalder, and you've got yourself a very intriguing TV show. Perfect for binge-watching.
