Without spoiling the story much I would like to say that this drama was a complete journey of emotions for me. From the very first episode I felt hooked to know more about the characters, the story. I can't really explain in words how good the drama was. The two lead roles, Wei Wu Xian and Lan Zhan played by Xiao Zhan and Wang Yi Bo, made me feel so many emotions that I never knew was possible. Their story made me realize that love can be found in many different form and that actions do speak louder than words. They expressed so much with their actions, stares, smiles, laughs that it's hard to miss what feelings they were trying to convey in the drama. Xiao Zhan and Wang Yi Bo were meant to play WWX and LZ. I think nobody else could've done justice to these roles if not them. Not only the lead roles, all the other characters of this story were so beautifully portrayed and every actor- actresses well fitted with their characters. The plot of the story is like a roller coaster ride. One time you laugh, one time you cry, one time you just want the villain to vanish and let everyone live happily especially the "Love Birds", WWX and LZ. Which also shows the villains also did a fabulous job in their roles. I would like to thank all the actor-actresses, the director, storywriters, camera directors and everyone who were a part of this story. All of them have done an extraordinary job. Moreover, I'd thank them for giving me a really heartfelt drama that would stay in my heart for a really long long time. Lastly, thank you to the actual writer of the novel, Mo Dao Zu Shi (the novel which this drama is depicted from), Mo Xiang Tong Xiu for writing a novel like this which brought out so many emotions in me, made me love the characters, made me look forward to something everyday while I was watching the drama and read the novel. The story even had a lot to learn from. So I'm really happy I got to find something like that, especially at a time like this in the pandemic this was a great escape for me and I loved everything about it. I would like to watch this drama over and over again as long as I can and really hope if I could get to see a season 2 with our lovely Wei Wu Xian and Lan Zhan played by Xiao Zhan and Wang Yi Bo, if that is ever possible in the future.
