The performance in the movies is the most important thing of the whole movies. However the way the message is depicted is absolutely wrong. The message should have been that if something committed by a woman is wrong then it is also wrong if a man commits the same thing, but somehow in the whole movie it felt like they were trying to downplay and glorify infidelity, the roles of everyone(apart from Tabu's role) felt like guilt-tripping to think that what the wife did should be forgiven because she was a faithful wife for the entire period apart from the beginning and if someone doesn't think it that way then they are narrow minded(which is stupid lol). The main message was delivered by Tabu's role which was why questions are not asked of her husband when he did the same bad thing as her and both are equally guilty of infidelity. Yup so only Tabu's character was the one that actually holds the main message while the other characters like the daughter-in-law's one was useless.

Not to go on the actors, But the Script and the Story writing was a disaster. Just Ruined One of the Good Old Movies. Story=Lame,Not in Sync, No Viciousness in the negative characters. Main Protagonist is just having quarrel more than acting. Actors:-Alia=not up to the mark(One of her worst performance i have seen), Aditya Roy Kapoor=Not Good enough Only Positive:- Probably the Music, Yeah the Music was Good
