Sing Street, ah where to start.
2016 has bunch of Top Notch films including Moonlight, La La Land, Arrival and Manchester by the Sea it was a sweat treat for me that year; But, Sing Street still sits on top of all the ones released that year because of pure treat it is.
Sing Street is joyful, emotional and compelling.
It has given the homage to Rock and Roll with highest regard more than we could as for.
It has blended the Teen/First Love/Romantic story of it in a way that's so entertaining, it bursts out of High-School Cliche category and that's an achievement especially recent ones are failing at it so bad.
It's set in the 80's and truly feels like a movie made in 80's, the classic materials and I don't think anyone need a second push to watch this film, if you have read it so far to know whether or not you should consider watching it, JUST DO IT, Ain't no way you'd be disappointed. Period.
