Everyone should watch this film and reflect on the themes it is illuminating for us all. It is, in essence, foreshadowing with great accuracy our greatest vulnerabilities, and the surest path to our own destruction: ‘United we stand, divided we fall’. Turning a blind eye to the issues we are facing, from global warming and our destruction of the environment, to our inability to confront racism, our de-evolution to screens, our collective worship of the fake materialistic and dollars, and most importantly our lack of connection and empathy to one another are ultimately the pathway to our ruin. As captured in one brief scene, we continue to play life like a game of Jenga, pulling out one piece after another of our foundation for quick thrills, knowing full well the end result: collapse. And in it all, the other creatures of the world are trying to tell us we are sick. In all, a beautiful and haunting film that demands more of us as a species, and a viewer with enough brains to understand the message.
