This is possibly the best season of Mom. It's now an ensemble of great veteran actors of varied ages, all of whom share nearly equal weight in the stories. It's also an important show dealing with addictions and issues of women in today's society. Something I would have thought the network desired in these times. Sad that the the network pulled such a massively bonehead move by canceling the show.

The show had a great start. It's continued to improve each week as everyone has defined and grown into their roles. The writing has also gotten tighter. The weekly cast of evil protagonists is top notch. I just wish Bridget Regan had more screen time in the last episode! As a side note, I immediately dismiss any review whining about wokeness. A review is no place for bigots to incorrectly use a term because they are afraid of their skin color or sexual preference changing by watching a show.
