This movie is outstanding. It will be one of my top 50 favorites for the more than sixty years I have experienced the picture shows! The fact that the producers were able to stay so close to the actual book was very good. I felt what was changed didn't effect the story line. I was emotionally connected from the very first. Beautiful movie in every way. Rarely do I wish I had seen the movie before the book. I was worried of disappointment since I loved the book and read it twice listened to it once. If you like drama, true life from 50's to 1960's , a bit of romance and wonderful beautiful . Only cinematography this is one to see.

I enjoyed the movie very much. I hate to say goodbye to Lord Uhtred. I don't want to mention spoilers. I do recommend for those that have not watched ,The Last Kingdom Series to do so before watching the movie.
