Was just taken aback while watching tonight’s episode with “team soul food” ….contestant stated his mother in law is an amazing cook of soul food. Instead of just complementing her, your host stated “ I have an aunt that’s an amazing cook..she was just visiting and she made me some dressing and then I invited some WHITE PEOPLE over and that dressing changed their life!” I can’t for the life of me understand how your producers allow your host to speak that way??seriously ABC ? My family consists of many nationalities..Chinese, German, Greek, Brazilian, Caucasian, Romanian and Irish. I’m beyond offended and think your host should be able to interact with her contestants without racially offensive banter…Honestly! Don’t we have enough dividing people today? Screen what you produce and if it’s a live taping she needs to be spoken to, retrained or replaced!
