Get ready to cry and have panic attacks. Did not watch a Kdrama so full of suspense since Crash landing on you. This was my first show watching Kim Soo-hyun as lead and now he is one of my favorite actors. The cast was right on point and the screenwriters and directors did a wonderful job. It deserves more than 5 stars.

The plot is really good and refreshing. What started strong - the orphan who gets a break and finds a confident friend . The grandmother who had unconditional love for a lonely teen that had no one and made it. Yes he didn’t seek dami for 15 years but was also de grandmother said so! So much was lacking. The screenwriters really messed up on this one. *** spoiler *** All the characters were good except the male lead was a cry baby, cheater, liar and “ had big hands “! Really? They reduced the female lead to loving the male lead because of big hands?! it was very unfair for Mr Han. He had a hard life and ended up alone! That aggravated me when I started to see half way tru the episodes to the end how they made mr Han to look like the mean guy when he was not! A real person who said like it was. He struggled with his feelings .Life was not easy for him and why not give him love ? A family to him ? while DoSan is nothing but a spoiled brat that had his parents fund a company for him! He cheated on his test ! Never came clean about it ( just to his parents ). dami should have ended up with Mr Han. During those 3 years the plot should have changed to see who she really loved was not an imaginary the Prince Charming from the letters but a real friend that was there when she needed and they needed each other ! ( all these kids amas always put a lead to spend years in USA and go back to the native land and show the female lead “ waiting for him?” Really? She was such a strong female lead to be reduced to “ I like you because you have big hands “ vs Mr Han “ you weee there for me for so many years and the idea of your existence made me go tru each day and still now you are helping me. Talk about the knight and shining armor! The firefighter ! The hero is Mr Han. They got through together a hard part of their life and was crucial for them. So he ended up w a Plant?! Really. I watched until the end because I still had hope that daMi and Dosan to realize they were just business partners and nothing else. I waited for her to look at the letters and see Mr Han for who he was a lonely person that only knew how to love her/care for her and her grandmother and noone else. Who is DoSan? A cheater that won a competition based on a lie, won the girl based on a lie, burn his dads hard working money on a basement company! They made it because of Dami and Mr Han advice ! So a liar and a cheater with the girl at the end?! And the Good BOY with a sad store ends alone at the end?! I don’t know what kind of fairy tale this was supposed to be but I watched with hopes that Dami would wake up and realized that Mr Han was really her love, he loved her so much that he went tru so much to make her not go tru sadness and hardship! I’m aggravated!
