Excellent film filled with slight tongue and cheek irony. The real star of the movie is the camera. We now live in a world where once you step out the house your on tape. Paparazzi examines (and exaggerates) this phenomenon in a wild and truly entertaining way. With the overnight sensation of movie stardom (Cole Hauser) juggles between fame and privacy with all its ups and downs- the “camera” plays the leading role. Denis Farina plays tribute to Columbo with his role as the detective who uncovers the truth without exposing it. All other cast and characters make for a delightful film about the pros and cons of stardom, and the camera that exploits and exposes it all for a piece of the pie.
