I had the honor of seeing this movie at the Roxie. It was well done and moved me. It is a shame that this chapter in the Asian American/Immigrant story has not been more widely shared. I hope it is used in Asian Studies and Criminal Justice classes to show what Asians in USA have gone through, as well as how we have banded together to get our voices heard. It is scheduled to premier on PBS Independent Lens in May 2023. If you get a chance to watch it beforehand at a theatre I recommend you do that.
