Templar Midge

This is a poor showing of Alexander's Conquest of Persia. The acting is great, no problems there, but this is far from historical. In regards to the actual conquest and battle segments shown, its all a complete fabrication. Take the battle of Tyr for example, they mention it in passing as if it was not significant, in reality Alexander built an ENTIRE bridge just to take the city. Now with the open land battle like Gaugamela or Issus, they don't show the famed Macedonian Phalanx at all its just a bunch of soldiers in what look like simple cloth/toga/normal clothes with a helmet, not a single Linothorax in sight they also dont even show Alexanders Hammer and Anvil tactic. He would use his infantry as an anvil to lock the persian infantry and cavalry in place then he would come from behind with cavalry and smash into the enemies rear lines. A complete sham of a "Docu-Drama"
