The book it quite enjoyable- for the first two thirds of it. After that mark, characters become increasingly more unlikable and the writing and plot quality drops faster than a duck shot out of the sky. The ending itself is incredibly underwhelming, so much that it has led me to give it this low rating. It doesn't give any closure on the story of the murderer besides a short page inserted into the epilogue (the conclusion itself is awfully done, and is wholly unsatisfying). The actions of the main character after she is brought back from the dead in the final quarter are so awful and sloppily written that I had to put the book down out of sheer frustration. I do not recommend this book unless you like having the rug pulled out from under you.
