583 years BCE, Cyrus the Great, King of the Persian Empire said "I prevent slavery and my governors and subordinates are obliged to prohibit exchanging men and women as slaves within their own ruling domains." Unfortunately, slavery was common until a few hundred years ago. I wish peace for humanity.
