After 90 hours the game crashed and I had to pull my save from the cloud cause it corrupted. Character was gone. 90 hours of game play and so much shit unlocked for it to just fucking disappear. DOG SHIT GAME.

Time I won't get back. Literally go watch anything else.

I'm going to try and sumerise a lot of information succinctly. The launch so far as of today 10/12/2022 is still having major issues. Over 50,000 person long wait ques, the ddos at the beginning, people not having their accounts merged correctly or even just flat wiped clean. Every character looks bland now, they removed all their visual personality. Every female has a tight pony tail, most every male character looks much more 'normal' like junkrat who has a very interesting visual look and personality just looks bland now. There is issues with competitive where the ranking doesn't make any sense at all. I'll be honestly and admit I am 'barely' a Platinum player (on a good day) but I'm ranked bronze. I've seen grandmasters on Twitter say they've been ranked anywhere from gold to bronze. The most oppressive issue to me personally is that the loot boxes were removed and replaced with a battle pass. You no longer can work to get a free lootbox every several games or so. To get any good cosmetics you must spend $20 to buy the base battle pass. Quick play has no purpose anymore once you finish your battle pass. How ever, strangely enough people who managed to get in on the first day when it launched. While it was being ddosed and people might get a single match in before they were kicked off. Gave reported that the cash op worked perfectly fine. During everything else going on. This feels less like overwatch 2 and more like overwatch 1.1 with incredibly light tweaks such as moving from 6v6 to 5v5 and visual retooling. The controls feel way more 'floaty' to me and it's so much harder to hit anything in my opinion. With the 5v5 somehow your tanks are now top frag and damage every game before they made them into like mini raid bosses. With D.va can flatline a 200 health character in about 2 seconds with her twin auto shottys and missiles. It's absolutely ridiculous. Meanwhile dps feel immensely weak in comparison. The only nice change about the 5v5 is now healers are able to shine a little brighter because the ability to double shield is gone. If you were not a fan of overwatch 1 this isn't the game for you. It's the exact same thing with VERY minor changes. Until the 'campaign' or PVE side of this game that blizzard promised for overwatch 2 comes out it just feels like overwatch 1.1 and honestly I expect the campaign for overwatch to go about as well as fortnite's save the world PVE mode. No one will care and no one will mention it and at the most it'll make this game feel like overwatch 1&½
