Great script and performances. Very complex family dynamics well-told.

Finds its feet around Episode 3. Some good performances & witty one-liners. At times delightfully shallow and entertaining, other moments thoughtful & heartfelt. Risky premise, i.e. could have been a real downer, but actually it works. A forced separation in which the dumpee transcends his grief and develops a greater sense of self. The NY backdrop suitably glamorous & sparkly. Binged it in a day with no nasty streaming hangover. Star does this material well. Def deserves a season 2. A fun distraction for gay & straight alike!

To be honest I was looking for an escapist afternoon in the cinema with a view. I was doubtful.... yet another Camino story. Pleasantly surprised. A compelling tale of grief stories mixed with the sheer physical grit required to walk “the way”. Cinematically a bit clunky but heartfelt and viscerally real. Melancholy in a good way. 4 stars.
