I watch regularly and have for years. I love the show and LIKED Meghan McCain. Yesterday’s show with Michele Tafoya and was very disappointed. I am a huge college football fan (OSU alumni 1976) and Tafoya did not do her homework. Info on player concussions has been widely available for several, I know more about it and CTE than she did. She was so off blaming only the owners, the real culprit is Roger Godell & the NFL organization, they knew for years and years how concussions hurt the cognitive issues and lied about it both to the players, the media, fans, etc. They covered about research done by reputable scientist Dr. Mary McCall — I may have her name wrong) and destroyed the career of Dr Omanu. Once they finally agreed to a settlement (taking no blame) they set up a system to weight white players more than black ones enabling them to breakdown the money and once again punish our very talented black players keeping them out of the big money. ( I’m a 67 year old white woman).Tafoya also had a very weak and confused analysis of Kapernick situation- she didn’t understand the political and racist way he was misunderstood. Remember the Mexico Olympics? How long did take to finally understand that it wasn’t not about not loving America. Same with Kapernick. He is a patriot and he GAVE up his career unselfish to make the point about racism in America and how it needs to be in the conversation. Please don’t hire Tafoya- there are so many brilliant conservative woman out there (you let Nicole Wallace go, you dummies). Do I have to list them for you? Ask Sunny, I’m sure she could name a few. Love our women on the football field, but they don’t seem to have the education both politically and with a wide understanding and interpretation of America today. PS I’m a liberal.
