Northern Light

Not a good book for those with a limited vocabulary, imagination and sense of humour. This is one of the best books from both writers, I read it when it first came out and re-read it after watching the Amazon adaptation. The adaptation was ok but sadly missed out the single best joke in the book. Inevitably the humour is silly, intelligent and very, very English, avoid if not a fan.
