I watched the cast on Morning Joe. So I expected laughs throughout. This movie disappointed me. All those 'stars' and I felt sorry that they had to deliver such idiotic lines. I know it is supposed to be funny and the lines should go hand in hand with the silliness, but they just missed the mark. Ironically, the man who invented the "'Pop Tart" last name was Post. He just passed away in February 2024. I got a chuckle out of that. Otherwise, the movie was BORING. 2 stars because there were some, albeit small, initial laughs. I thought that Christian Slater was good and plausible.

Sorry for the old cliche, but this show is like watching paint dry. So slow. Melissa McCarthy is the only shinning light, showing at least a 2 -dimensional character. I really find myself not caring about any of these characters.

I had/have mixed feeling about this movie. Motherhood is hard, yes, any mother knows that, especially young mothers who may not be ready. I have know women that have left their children, and thought it selfish, however, sometimes other factors will come to play. Leda definitely has issues, unresolved or otherwise. Taking the doll was extremely bizarre for anyone, especially since she understood that the little girl is suffering. Ed Harris was good. Dakota Johnson, meh. (But I have not really seen her in a movie where she was good). This is an insightful movie and takes some thought. It would've been a good movie for one of my Psychology classes.
