After Life is the most heartfelt, beautiful, brilliant thing I have ever seen. Charming, delightful and so incredibly touching. You immediately fall in love with these characters and throughout the (3) seasons you develop a deeper connection with them. The story is told and directed perfectly, and Ricky Gervais' acting is genius! Actually, all of the actors' incredible performances deserve praise. This is the series that should establish a worthiness of a new Oscar category. Brilliant, absolutely brilliant! If this series was available for purchase, I would definitely invest, as I plan to watch this over and over again.
