Bon Jovi have been my favourite band for 30 years, but with the guys now in their 60s, and the last four albums ranging from mediocre to poor, I wasn't too optimistic about Forever. I was wrong. Half of the 12 tracks are good, the rest are great. This is not a return to their heyday, but it is a mature, sophisticated rock sound, that provides the whole package, even without Sambora. It's a great day to be a Bon Jovi fan!
