Idk why this got a bad review upon initial release. The story wasn't a complete reboot, and the new characters while mostly introduced to further the plot, did their job and had some of the 90s feel to them. Sure Hugo Weaving and Lawrence Fishbournes absence was felt, but their recast wasn't terrible. Really, it filled the gap or what happened at the end of 3 and wound up being a gretlat story. Not the guns and action sequences of a 17 year Olds wet dream, but a shiny philosophy dressed up and easy to digest.
