Scott Sauber

This is an insufferable show with the added bonus of being a cliche riddled script following characters spouting buzzwords and contrived conflict manufactured by the need to overcome a miserable plot using absurd logic and decisions that are either inconsequential or entirely implausible. The surface excitement of scene and action is easily ruined by closer examination of what these characters represent and exceedingly pandering to appeal to a dumbed down audience packaged as a YA series, yet pre-teens have more common sense to know better. This is a show about mystery and puzzles that forces plot together like pieces from multiple puzzles with superglue and tape. There’s no rhyme or reason to how the writers solve these mysteries and becomes so cringey you might start to hate watch to see how absurd this show is.
