Ultimately, the acting is what sells this movie! From the President to his followers, the astronauts and the news people. We go to the movies so we can be taken to a different reality, in this case a world facing extinction. This world is well constructed and extremely well acted! Bravo! I only wish they could remake this movie with our current President and his sycophants running the country! They could take us from "this is a complete hoax" to "lots of people are going to die" in 30 minutes!
