Wow! I had originally read some “negative ” reviews about the gore and over sexualized scenes, and at first I thought I’d pass. But I’m a huge fan of Mike Flanagan’s work, so I figured I’d give it a try. First off, yes there’s some gore, and yes there’s a lot of vulgar language and over sexualized scenes BUT the story had me hooked from the minute it started. There wasn’t a dull moment in this series, and I kept waiting for an episode to make me throw in the towel (based on some reviews) but that obviously never happened. I absolutely LOVED this series! It kept me interested and glued to the tv the entire time. I just loved the story telling and the acting was superb!! As always I love seeing Kate Siegel appear in all of his movies, along with all the familiar cast we’ve seen in his other series! Mike Flanagan never ceases to amaze me with his work! This was EXCELLENT! Loved it from start to finish, and I’m so glad I didn’t let some negative reviews stop me from watching it for myself. Another great series added to the collection! BRAVO! 👏🏼
