My first English bible.. Not the one that i read first since i read a KJV version as child. But this is the first English bible that i personally had. I am amazed by how clear the Word of God to me and how easy for me to understand it. Mind you, English is not my native language and now i am thinking about it, its kinda ironic that my first clear understanding of bible came from foreign language. I even often compared my native bible version to CEV in order to gain more understanding of it, though now i also find understanding from another version as well. For me, it's a special version that open the door for me. In fact, even though that it's dilapidated right now, i still bring it to every place that i travel. It even at some point, reside in my car glove compartment for several years. Now, though it might not be the most comprehensive but i will really recommend this to anyone who will start learning bible. God bless you all.
