"Gross" is not how we look or who we are. "Gross" is how we constantly trying to satisfy the superficial demand of the society, physical or virtual...then we lose sight of ourselves. The acting is top of the line. The change in emotions and revelation of the humanity were interpreted perfectly. The cinematography was also very impactful. However, it's not something I would watch again, but the first experience is "woah!"

How far will men go once they figure out they can use the higher being to their advantage? Will men ever own up the consequences of their own decisions? This movies reveals the true nature of men...even in the presence of higher being. Frances Fisher took control of the antagonist role; quietly and subtly took over the storyline...just like what the real life sociopaths would do...more powerful than her interpretation of the Rose's mother in Titanic.

Good pace. A reflection on the superficiality of the "influencers" (not just social media). A good "reminder"...not everyone who is nice to you genuinely have your best interest. The cinematography is interesting...a lot of symbols, hints and good angles. The performance of the cast is also impressing. Looking forward to see another Zoe Kravitz film.

1 and 2 are the best. The 3rd one was hard to swallow. The new one is like watching pain...in slow motion.

In this materialistic world, we have learnt to pursuit things that are so insignificant to us and treasure things are little value in our destiny. Not only is abundance not enough to satisfy us; now we crave for instant gratifications. At the end, we missed the most valuable moments and the most precious people. When the final curtain drops, don't leave with regret and disappointment. The metaphoric and philosophical symbolism in this movie will make you think far beyond just a movie review.

Sorry, we couldn't watch it more than 2 episode on the first season. The original dynamics between the main characters are just not there. We understand the importance of "diversity" and all, but really?!? Yeah, the dramas with Chris and Kim didn't help either.... Best of luck!
