I purchased the book with high hopes...back of book synopsis sounded promising but.... one of the most boring books I have ever read. The main character alternates from sounding like Mr. Perfect even though he's been through some rough patches to a stalker who doesn't know how to take "no" for an answer. Struggled to get to page 144 and have thrown in the towel...can't continue reading...was a waste of money. The past few Nicholas Sparks books I have also struggled with, this was the final straw. I think his earlier works were better and counted on the reader to be intelligent and not just accept any drivel that is given us.
