Aliens: out of the shadows is the single best Alien book discounting the comics and honestly deserves an adaptation of some sort (preferably a video game). The novel keeps you on your feet throughout the entire book and the author is very descriptive. The story will keep you guessing up until right before the reveals. The characters are memorable although you'll notice they are similar to the Aliens crew mainly hicks and Vasquez. It fits seamlessly into the Alien universe and feels natural. I enjoyed this book a lot and think that if you are a fan of the Alien franchise and have watched Alien and Aliens you will love this book. Definitely worth your time.
